 Mahal built by Mogul emperor is the fifth between the years 1631-1648 to honor his wife, Arjuman Bano Begum, or better known as Mumtaz Mahal.
Initially, only mentions Shah Jahan as a tomb mosque that Mumtaz Mahal, but eventually developed into Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal when translated means' Palace Mahkota ', an expansion of the name Mumtaz Mahal who came from Persia.
28 Rocks beautiful from various regions in Asia are used. The red sandstone of Fatehpur Sikri, Jasper from Punjab, Jade and crystal from China, turquoise stones from Tibet, coated lazuli and sapphire from Sri Lanka, coal and kornelian stone from the Arab and diamonds from Panna. Tiles covering the floor is made of marble from the luminous Makrana, Rajasthan.
